About this course
Controlling traffic through work areas is one of the most important -- and dangerous -- operations in construction maintenance. Flagmen play an important part in warning motorists of construction hazards and in controlling traffic flow. This training course will equip flag persons to perform their duties safely and professionally. The primary objective of the program is to train flaggers to provide safe passage of traffic through and around work areas and to minimize confusion by bringing standard flagging procedures to our nation's highways.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
*The course is intended for outdoor staff employed by Local Authorities, Public Utilities, and private sector contractors and other persons involved in works on public roads. Participants may be general operatives and supervisory staff.
